While at Jones Day, Emmett hired and worked with local counsel in dozens of cases across the country. He thus understands what corporations and their national counsel require from their local attorneys: responsiveness, knowledge of local courts and practice, and the ability—and flexibility—to work as little or as much as needed on a given matter.
Emmett is disciplined in responding to clients. He is well-connected in the northern Ohio legal community, currently serving on the judicially appointed Attorney Advisory Panel for the Northern District of Ohio. And he is willing to tailor his role in any given case to meet your specific needs, from basic assistance with pro hac vice motions to brief drafting and representation at hearings, settlement conferences, and mediations.
Civil Litigation and Trial Support
In addition to major-motions and appeals briefing, the Robinson Law Firm also offers other trial-court-level civil litigation services to both businesses and individuals. Emmett has extensive experience litigating at the trial-court level and is available to represent commercial and individual clients as lead counsel in breach-of-contract, tort, unfair competition, securities, and employment cases, or in virtually any other civil matter. Emmett also has extensive experience in managing discovery disputes and is available in a discovery- or trial-support role to research, draft, and argue motions to compel, motions in limine, and the like.
